Greetings to all visitors to the Middlewest Region of Chi Eta Phi Sorority Incorporated.  It is indeed an honor to serve as the Director of the Middlewest Region.

     The Middlewest Region is comprised of 12 states with 14 Graduate Chapters and 5 Undergraduate Chapters of professional registered nurses and student nurses. We are known as the “Mighty” Middlewest Region.  The Middlewest Region Chi Eta Phi Sorority Incorporated has proven its excellence in providing education in the area of Health Promotion/Disease Prevention and exemplifying our motto: “Service for Humanity”.  Over the next few years, emphasis will be placed on 1) Capacity Building through increased understanding of the organizations infrastructure and support systems, leadership development, and organizational financial management; 2) E-Commerce will involve creating a committee to research the requirements, cost, and feasibility of creating an MWR E-commerce opportunity through the website. The idea is to produce continuous income for the MWR and chapters; 3) Communication is vital to developing and maintaining close relationships among the chapters. Increased use of videoconferencing will provide additional support for the chapters and facilitate close and friendly relationships among the membership. As we continue to exemplify the vision and mission of Chi Eta Phi Sorority Incorporated and function as a more cohesive business machine, the Middlewest Region will achieve exponential growth in its capacity and financial footprint.
