Dr. Shirley Jordan Seay is Adjunct Faculty at Cuyahoga Community College.  As a certified tumor registrar (CTR) she teaches a new Cancer Information Program for future cancer registrars.  Cancer Registrars capture complete data related to every cancer patient diagnosed and or treated in the U.S.

Publications

 

Dr. Jordan Seay was a member of the Data Collection Core for the American Joint Committee on Cancer Staging Manual 8th edition which will be used to stage cancer causes diagnosed starting in January, 1, 2018.

 

Presentations of National Significance

Dr. Jordan Seay joined gastroenterologist Sravarthi Parasa, MD, Joseph Trunzo, MD, and cancer survivor Maureen Traine, RN in a community health presentation on colon cancer awareness. Dr. Jordan Seay focused on the significant rise in young adults presenting with late stage colon cancer.
